FILMS IN PRODUCTION

       

The following films have been selected for production in second semester 2009.

All the films will screen at the 11th Sydney Film School Festival at the Palace Academy Twin Cinema in Paddington on the 16th and 17th December 2009.

PART 1 DOCUMENTARY PROJECTS
► SOMEBODY TO LOVE - A documentary focusing on the lives of animals in an RSPCA shelter. Some find new homes while others wait around for somebody to love.
► MY MATE MATT - The documentary follows My Mate Matt as he confronts his greatest personal fears:  handling snakes, climbing the tall buildings and letting spiders walk along his arms.
► FACEBOOK: BEHIND THE USERS AND ADDICTS - Are many young people becoming addicted to social relationships over the internet.
► BASURERO - Ollie Pederson, garbage collector by day, is an aspiring tango dancer by night.
► HOW DIFFERENT TO WHAT? - Brook, a singer, songwriter, and percussionist holds down a steady job – and oh yeah – has an intellectual disability.
► JUST A DAD - A gay man’s journey as he pursues his desire to become a father.                                                                                                                                                         ► COCKROACHES - A documentary about cockroahes which focues on humans. Why do we hate them? Can we learn to ignore them? What is our phobia?
► THE ANIMAL - The roaring saint of Sydney’s red light district.                                                                                                                                      ► URBAN GOATS - A walk in the city with Maxi and Joni.
► MEET THE SONGBIRDS - An amateur drama-music group rehearse and perform their annual Xmas show, performing in a nursing home.
► GRANT, THE UFO GUY - A man who discovered his passion in life when he was looking up at the sky one clear summer night twenty-five years ago.
